Rebecca Oswago
With nine years of experience in humanitarian emergency contexts, specializing in MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) and SGBV (Sexual and Gender-Based Violence) programming, she has coordinated prevention and response efforts in war-affected areas, such as Northeast Syria and refugee camps. Her work focuses on integrating MHPSS into primary healthcare, supporting survivors of war, torture, and trauma, and managing teams. She has collaborated with international NGOs and UN agencies, and has received training in Clinical Care for Sexual Assault Survivors (CCSAS), PSEA, and HIV.
As an expatriate, she has served in countries like Moldova (as MHPSS Advisor during the Ukrainian refugee crisis) and Northeast Syria (as MHPSS Coordinator). She has worked at Kakuma refugee camp with the Center for Victims of Torture and has 18 years of experience in psychosocial support for survivors of HIV/AIDS, GBV, and war trauma. She has actively participated in inter-agency technical working groups and provided technical support and capacity building for frontline workers in MHPSS, stress management, trauma care, and GBV response.
Emmanuel Melgarejo Estefan,
is a Mexican PhD candidate in medical sciences. with more than 15 years of experience in the health sector, both public and private in epidemiology. He is an associate consultant, monitor and auditor of clinical studies, and a health insurance reviewer. He has held positions of direction, management, auditing and prevention of health services in various institutions. He has a solid academic and complementary background, as well as skills in the use of languages, technologies and statistical tools.

Consultant for the Global Fund, OPS-MSPS, and PNUD-MSPS-MEN in health systems, public policy, and evaluation strategies. Former Director of Nutrition and Supply at the District Secretariat of Social Integration, managing food procurement and distribution during COVID-19. Extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and management in health projects, including human rights and epidemiology.
